Our Image Cataloguing system allows any image in the system to be located within seconds by entering one or more keywords associated with the image. Like our document search facility described earlier, a list of all documents with those keywords is displayed almost instantly and then it’s a simple matter of selecting the right image document.
Image documents like the one below contain a selection of thumbnails of associated images. Click on the relevant thumbnail and the image you want is displayed in full.
To create an image document, related images are first grouped into a folder. When the folder name is entered into the Image Cataloguing, all images in that folder are presented one at a time, with a facility to type in a few keywords of description and the source of the image.
That’s all it takes to produce a document like the one illustrated. It becomes just another document in the archive and is automatically indexed overnight.
